A lot is happening in our lives — Hard stuff. So, to inspire myself, I decided to begin to reread and search out stories of success and perseverance. While I cannot recommend that you eat anything from his “restaurant,” I am challenged and provoked by the story of Colonel Harland Sanders. According to the stories I read, he was rejected at least 1,009 times and in an extremely challenging financial situation for years; nonetheless, he persisted to look for the person who would buy his special recipe. And the one person who finally said, “Yes,” changed his life and legacy forever.
I have a lot more work to do before I give in. Do you? Let’s try it one more time.
When the world says, “Give up,”
Hope whispers, “Try it one more time.”
